Image Analysis of Metal Fracture Surfaces using AI Determination of fracture modes plays an extremely important role in failure investigation for preventing recurrence of failure accidents in automobiles, airplanes, and power plants. However, in recent years, there is a serious shortage of human resources with high level of expertise required for fracture mode analysis.
